I'm an entrepreneur, full-stack web developer, designer and business student from Helsinki, Finland.
Here are some articles I've written:
I've done several side-projects:
-
I made the Interactive Guide to Blog Typography because I felt that the basics of typography and its jargon were boring to learn by conventional means. I created a short guide that teaches typography visually. It received quite a bit of attention around the web with over 100 000 visitors in two months. It made the front page of Hacker News and many web publications covered it: Lifehacker, TheNextWeb, Webmonkey, and more.

TypeUp is a Compass extension that generates typographic spacing rules for CSS. I noticed myself doing a lot of manual calculation every time I wanted to tweak the typography of a webpage, so I made TypeUp to automate all that. It hasn't received much love from me lately since I've been doing more programming work than pure web design. Still, I use it every time I need to write custom CSS for a website, and it saves me tons of time.

Typesetting Responsive CSS3 Columns is an experiment on how columns could be implemented responsively and with progressive enhancement.
